about

I am a Colombian-born artist and art motivator living in the rural countryside of West Norfolk, UK. Working primarily in oils, my practice draws inspiration from the rhythm of everyday life and the quiet beauty of my surroundings.

Each subject invites a different kind of response, creating interplay between the familiar and the abstract. My paintings are built in visible layers, revealing a process of testing, adjusting, and finding balance between control and freedom.

Moving fluidly between figuration and abstraction, I begin with playful, intuitive mark-making, allowing spontaneous lines and marks to guide me.

My work is less concerned with accuracy and more focused on expression, capturing the energy and emotion of a moment rather than its exact form.

Believing that learning never stops, I host a monthly ‘playday’ in my West Norfolk studio. A relaxed, open art workshop where creativity, exploration, and play take centre stage, encouraging my community to art.

My work has been exhibited at SoShiro Gallery in Marylebone, London, as part of a celebration of global artisans, and I was selected as a wildcard for Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2025.

You are invited to visit me in my studio, upon appointment, which means you'll see me in all my messy glory.
