I am a Colombian artist based in the rural Norfolk countryside. My product design background along with experiencing diverse cultures manifest into distinctive and colourful artistic expression.

My take on the abstract form looks to capture the feeling of a place or a moment. Through the use of oil or acrylics, I offer hints of a ‘likeness’ of the subject, as a way to playfully entice the observer but ultimately leaving space for individual discovery. I work with a wide variety of subjects tying them together through their abstraction.

the team

My process begins on return to the studio after a walk. Followed by my two dogs, Lola and Matilda, who I have dubbed my ‘creative manager’ and ‘studio assistant’.

In the studio commences the chain of reactions to the colours, shapes, textures, and patterns of my surroundings. Following this, abstract play begins; I look towards my ‘inner child’ through a process of mark making and colour discovery, facilitating looseness and freedom.
