What To Bring
Playdays are all about reconnecting with the freedom of making. We work slowly, intuitively, and without judgement.
You’re encouraged to experiment, layer, scribble, and change direction. If something doesn’t work, stick something on top of it.
Come as you are. Bring what you have. Everything else unfolds from there.
Below is some ideas of what to bring, you do not need everything on this list, use it as a guide only!

Location & Parking
The Barn Studio is located at my home in the beautiful West Norfolk countryside. The easiest way to reach the studio is by car. Free, secure, off-road parking with full accessibility is available for all visitors.
Experience
The purpose of playday is simple: to inspire creativity in everyone. It is an open space to everyone, regardless of experience.
We all have an inner artist, and this isn’t about what you know or how much experience you have - it’s about the joy of creating and expressing yourself. All you need is the desire to make something and have fun!
Do not worry about:
having the “right” materials
previous experience or skill level
making finished pieces
getting things wrong
This is a space for play, curiosity, and exploration. Mistakes are part of the process.
